Maria has been doing fantastic. She's probably the most outgoing, bubbly, social butterfly kind of person you'll meet. She sang at our ward talent night before she was even a member and she was the best singer there. She looks forward to going to the temple with her Mom soon, and I have no doubt she'll remain active in the church.
We had an investigator named Duy ("Zoy"), from Vietnam, come to church with us this Sunday--he has some interesting beliefs but he is acting upon the things we share, which has been fantastic.
This week we have our second "Boot Camp", which is a zone conference where President Parker and the assistants train the missionaries all day on skills such as finding, teaching, etc. Elder Paeu and I and the assistants split up into groups and set up iPads on tripods to film the role plays, then we come back together and watch them in front of the entire zone on the projector screen and critique the missionaries. The first Boot Camp was probably the best zone conference I had ever been to since everyone improved over the course of the day.
